Tom was born in Yonkers, NY and in 1968 was the youngest member of Mensa in the country at that time- and is to date, the highest tested individual in Mensa at that age. Educated at the University of California, Tom moved to Arizona after college in 1994, and went into the insurance business.

After being a successful agent for NY Life Insurance, he decided to become an independent broker in 2005 and is now a successful entrepreneur and author of the column “Conservative Issues from the Desert.” He calls Surprise, AZ his home, where he does volunteer work for various issues around the state and writes for his local newspaper, “The Glendale/Peoria Today.” He also has been a guest Political analyst on various radio and talk shows.

Conservative, funny and a candidly frank speaker, Tom is available for consultation and speaking engagements on subjects from politics to marketing. Tom writes in the style of William Buckley and George Will– intellectual discussions about today’s political topics. His complete collection of essays is now available on Amazon– “The Conservative Chronicles” as well as various other books on modern American political thought.

Todd is the founder of #TGDN — a Twitter organization, which he will explain in detail on the show. He primarily handles campaign and election cases, constitutional litigation, complex civil litigation, and appeals. He also enjoys cases that have underlying scientific or technical issues.

A number of Todd’s cases have received extensive press coverage in local and national media outlets. High profile cases, particularly those involving politics, present unique problems in terms of legal advocacy. Todd enjoys the difficult task of finding solutions that work both politically and legally.

Todd has served as General Counsel and Executive Director of the South Carolina Republican Party and has represented campaigns and other political groups at all levels. Todd has represented candidates for president, city council, and most everything in between. In addition, Todd has previously served as a member of the Republican National Committee by proxy, as Chairman of the Simpsonville Election Commission, and has held a variety of other public and private offices.

Todd is originally from Simpsonville, South Carolina. He attended the University of South Carolina School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review, the Order of the Barristers, and the Moot Court. Todd’s undergraduate work was at Erskine College where he earned a B.S. with a triple major in chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Between Erskine and USC, Todd attended Clemson University and performed graduate work in nanotechnology and analytical chemistry. Todd is proud to have started his higher education at Greenville Technical College, where he earned an A.S. degree before transferring to Erskine.
