Kate Obenshain: An author, blogger, regular guest on Fox News, CNBC and radio shows, as well as a popular national speaker, Kate Obenshain is fearless defender of liberty. She inspires audiences with her passionate, experienced insights, never hesitating to speak her mind, even when it contradicts the establishment—as it often does. Kate is the author of Divider in Chief: The Fraud of Hope and Change (Regnery, 2012)—a book that has garnered national praise for its searing, systematic indictment of the Obama administration’s divisive, destructive tactics. Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, David Limbaugh, Congressman Allen West and other widely respected conservatives have lauded the book. She speaks regularly all across the country–on college campuses; for civic, political and religious groups; conferences and conventions, women’s retreats, Tea Party rallies—you name it, she’s done it—for over 20 years, enlightening and entertaining audiences on topics ranging from economic policy, national security, education, faith, parenting, political correctness on campus, and the changing role of women in politics and the work place.

Rich Baris: As a contributor to TheBrennerBrief.com, Rich Baris writes weekly on issues facing the conservative movement. As many young Americans felt compelled to do, after September 11th 2001, Richard Baris left a very successful, self-made landscape design business in order to enlist in the United States Army. He received an honorable discharge and began working in financial services landing at Edward Jones Investments as a financial advisor. The housing market collapse prompted Baris to return to school to pursue a B.A. in his original field of passion — Political Science and International Relations. Baris’ writings on the influence of domestic politics on U.S. foreign policy in the last 120 years earned him Cum Laude Honors upon graduation. Since 2000, he has been politically active in various presidential campaigns, and formerly served on the Research Committee for the Gainesville Tea Party. He is currently writing an expanded version of his thesis, “The Virtuous Republic,” which identifies the negative impact of modern liberalism on America’s economic condition, personal freedom, and political discourse as it is applied as a solution to the problems created by a waning once virtuous society.
