University of Rhode Island professor’s retweet: Murder anyone who thinks teachers should be armed

He wants Sara Marie Brenner dead then, too. What a genius. Note that he says “beaten to death,” because if all of our guns have been taken away he would have to use his hands.

The assistant professor who retweeted this — Erik Loomis — should either explain himself, or be fired. Sometimes tweets are retweeted to show the ridiculous tactics of the left. For example, conservatives frequently retweet vile tweets sent to them by the left to show their followers what the leftists send. However, it is usually followed up by an explanation. Did Loomis denounce The Rude Pundit’s declaration?

  1. I hope it’s as obvious to others as it is to me that Prof. Loomis’s problem is ‘mental,’ not ‘liberal.’ His anger exceeds the bounds of ‘righteousness’ and plops smack, dab, in the middle of ‘disturbing.’ Neither I, nor any “lib” with whom I share common ground would be ‘on board’ with this type of rhetoric. People are being detained and questioned for saying much less as police take the appropriate “no tolerance” stance regarding threats of violence, as well as its advocacy. I truly hope he gets the help he needs, whatever his employer chooses to do. Additionally, blaming the NRA is simply — simplistic.
